| About the Team |
The 2008 boys’ varsity lacrosse team had a very successful season as they became the first Tabor Academy team to win 10 games since 1998. The team, which finished with a record of 10-7, was led by All-American Goaltender Roly St. Clair-Barrie (UMBC), and the close defense of senior Phil Greenwood (Loyola College) and John Storella-Mullin (RPI). Austin Ray (RPI) and Sully Smith (23 goals, 20 assists) led the attack unit, while seniors Mike Jangro, RJ Swift (Providence) and Matt Zaverucha (Muhlenberg) provided strength at the midfield. The team played great defense all year (6.6 goals against), and showed great determination in winning 3 of the 4 games decided by 1 goal. The Seawolves finished the season strong with wins over Kimball-Union Academy and Cohasset High School in their last two games.
