It is hard to picture a more stunning location for a school than Tabor’s in southeastern Massachusetts. Our campus,in the small town of Marion, stretches along a half mile of Sippican Harbor on Buzzards Bay leading to the Atlantic. Views of water glistening in the afternoon sun and sailboats gently bobbing on their moorings, as well as the smell and feel of bracing salt air, nourish our souls and raise our spirits when workloads overwhelm.

Our students and teachers maximize the school’s location through academic programs in marine and environmental sciences. Students have the opportunity to study Naval architecture and seamanship while others conduct research in our new Center for Marine and Nautical Science located on the shores of Sippican Harbor. This Center is a certified “Green” building, underscores Tabor’s commitment to treasure the surroundings on which the school was built. Our AP Environmental Science course is taught in the Schaefer Lab also located on the waterfront. These facilities give our students the advantage of being eyewitnesses to the material they are studying.

Our interscholastic and recreational waterfront programs in —sailing and crew—each rank as one of the finest, and best-coached, high school programs in the country.
