Tabor has served students from the local area since its founding in 1876. With the advent of universal public education, Tabor was no longer the town of Marion’s public school, but remains an excellent educational option for many families. The school makes every effort to welcome day families into the life of the school. All school programs and activities, including weekend outings, on-campus events, all meals, and evening study halls to name a few, are open to day students. It is our hope that day students will be unrecognizable from boarding students until they leave for home at the end of a long day.
