Being away from home can be difficult at times for students and their families. In order to help ease the stress that distance can place on communications and arrangements for students, Tabor has services to offer Day Families, Boarding Families and International Families. In addition, all families and students benefit from these available services:
Tabor's Advisor System
Your child’s advisor should be kept informed of any issues involving your child or any concerns that you may have for his or her welfare, and be the first person you call with your questions. An advisor will see your child often each week and have a good sense of how things are going. Your child’s advisor will be in regular contact with you throughout the year, but you should not hesitate to e-mail or call him or her at any time. You can find your advisor in the faculty directory at left.
Tabor's Counseling System
Professional counselors are available to your child on campus. Our counselors have offices in Wickenden Chapel, and students may make appointments at their convenience and with the assurance of full confidentiality.
Tabor's Health Center
The Health Center is located in the northwest corner of the Fish Center. Professional Nurses staff the Health Center 7 days a week, maintaining On-Call coverage during off hours.
