It is the school’s expectation that students and parents will respect the published calendar. Airline flights and vacation plans should by scheduled to correspond with dates when classes are not in session. The school requires that parents disclose specific information when requesting that a student be excused from a school obligation. The school does reserve the right to determine whether an absence from school will be excused. Unauthorized early departure or late returns from vacations will be treated as a violation of the absence policy.
