"In some ways an endowment gift is the best kind to receive. It means somebody is looking ahead one, two, even three generations, and that is invaluable for the legacy of the school." Joe Doggett, Director of Studies

Currently comprising 10% of the operating budget, the endowment availment is an integral partner in the school's annual financial stability. As Tabor remains highly dependent on tuition income and annual giving to cover operating expenses, growth of the endowment ensures more of the steady income stream we need to weather changes in economic circumstances beyond our control.

Increasing the endowment significantly will be accomplished through a combination of outright and planned gifts, as well as bequests. The result of these efforts will be to provide increased income to our largest budget areas, thus providing increased flexibility in overall budget setting, allowing us to put tuition income toward areas they are most needed to remain competitive, whether that may be in compensation and benefits, updating facilities or academic programming and scholarship.

Naming opportunities are plentiful.
