Not stepping on the Tabor Seal -At the top of the list of Tabor superstitions is the power of the Tabor Seal. The story goes, if you step on the Tabor Seal, you won’t graduate. It’s something every freshman learns their first day of orientation and keeps with them until they finally get their diploma; then the Seal becomes a doormat.
Senior Projects -In the Spring, seniors have the opportunity to skip out on some classes to explore and build a project around any topic that may interest them. The final project is then presented to any member of the Tabor community who wishes to see it and graded by a senior project committee.
Springfest -To celebrate the nice spring weather and the coming of summer, the Tabor Academy Student Council organizes a fair by day concert by night event called Springfest. In the light hours there are moonwalks and burgers and at night, a variety of bands come and play on the outside stage.

Holderness Day -It just wouldn’t be right if the fall season didn’t end with an epic battle against Tabor’s rival school, Holderness. On one day, 6 teams from each school go head to head in a day long event to determine which school takes home The Cup. The games are intense, the music is good, the rivalry is playful, and the food is plenty.

Hanging out in the Beebe-On the weekends or on some Monday morning, the Beebe is the place to go play a game of pool, go see a band, or just grab a quick bite to eat. Of course, every Tabor student has to try the Beebe’s signature breakfast sandwich, the Beebe Riser, at least once. Whether you’re there for breakfast or karaoke night, it’s a sweet place to be.
Dorm Parties-Dorms will gather to celebrate birthdays, the Superbowl, or even a Thursday night. They’ll gather to play Halo, eat nachos, or make a dorm banner. Sometimes things are organized and sometimes the gatherings are totally spontaneous. Either way, they’re a great time.
Global Connections-Wherever you go, people know Tabor. It’s not unusual to be on a charter boat in Puerto Rico and meet someone whose sister’s son went to Tabor and loved it. No joke, it’s happened. Tabor students and alumni just get used to meeting people who know about the school.
Uncle Jon’s and the Sippican Cafe-Trips to Uncle Jon’s Coffee Shop for snacks are an essential part of the Tabor experience. When it’s cold, taking a hike to Uncle John’s for some hot cocoa and a donut is key. When parents visit or when there's a special occasion, a trip to the Sippican Cafe offers a great spot to celebrate or enjoy a quiet dinner just a block away from campus.
